Security Analyst (Dublin)

• 6-month contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and investigate security alerts across cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Triage and escalate security incidents where appropriate.
• Support cloud threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response activities.
• Analyse cloud logs and security events using SIEM and monitoring tools such as Splunk.
• Improve alerting capabilities by reducing false positives and enhancing detection rules.
• Assist with identifying emerging threats, including risks associated with AI technologies.
• Maintain security documentation and operational procedures.

Required Experience:

• Background in cybersecurity, security operations, incident response, or cloud security.
• Experience conducting security investigations using SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of threat detection, vulnerability management, and security operations.
• Experience working with red team.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and industry best practices such as ISO 270001 and NIST.
